PORTLAND, Maine – Saint Joseph's College placed seventh with a 326 (+38) team score in the 2025 USM Husky Classic, held at Riverside Golf Course on Sunday.
University of Southern Maine captured the team title with an even-par 288, while Husson University (296) and Colby College (299) rounded out the top three. New England College (316), VTSU-Castleton (318), Maine Maritime Academy (323), Saint Joseph's (326), UMaine-Farmington (342), and UMaine-Presque Isle (342) completed the field.
Individually, Jaden Poirier (USM) and Juan Hernandez (Husson) shared medalist honors after both carded three-under 69s. USM's Quinn Dillon placed third with a 70, teammate Keenan Buteau was fourth at 71, and Sam Knight (Castleton) and Johnny Kinsley (Colby) tied for fifth with 72s.
FOR THE MONKS:
- Freshman Finn Manning (Carver, Mass.) – carded a 78 (+6) to place 21st, highlighted by 11 pars and two birdies.
- Freshman Jason Curran (North Reading, Mass.) – posted an 82 (+10) with 12 pars, tying for 29th.
- Sophomore AJ Davis (Turner, Maine) – matched Curran with an 82 (+10), tallying eight pars and two birdies.
- Sophomore Kyle Bowlan (Pelham, N.H.) – registered an 84 (+12) to finish 36th; notched eight pars and birdied the opening hole.
- Junior Noah Tibbetts (Brewer, Maine) – shot an 86 to place 41st, improving dramatically with a back-nine 39 after a 47 on the front.
