STANDISH, Maine – The first Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association (MWBCA) weekly accolades of the 2025–26 season have been announced, and Saint Joseph's College senior forward Madison Lebel (Hermon, Maine) has been named the MWBCA Player of the Week.

Lebel collects the first weekly honor of her collegiate career after averaging 7.5 points and 15.5 rebounds while shooting 45.5% (5–11) from the field during a 1–1 opening weekend for the Monks. The senior forward pulled down 17 rebounds with a pair of blocked shots in a narrow loss to Plymouth State on Saturday and followed with 14 rebounds in a 50–38 victory over Thomas College on Sunday.

Saint Joseph's will host Maine Maritime Academy in its 2025–26 home opener tonight at 7:00 PM.
