STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced its weekly awards and Saint Joseph's College freshman guard Davis Mann (Falmouth, Maine) has been selected as the GNAC Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.

Mann averaged 19.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in a pair of losses last week. The freshman guard scored 18 points with seven rebounds versus UMaine-Farmington on Tuesday and logged his second NCAA double-double with 20 points and 10 boards in an overtime setback at the University of Southern Maine on Sunday.

Through eight games – all starts – this season, Mann is averaging 16.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per contest while shooting 46.7% (50-107) from the field and 77.8% (21-27) from the free-throw line. He currently leads the team in points (131), field goals made (50) and attempted (107), and free throws made (21) and attempted (27), and also ranks among the Monks' top rebounders and playmakers.

Mann earned his first GNAC Rookie of the Week honor on November 12th.
