STANDISH, Maine – Saint Joseph's College Women's Volleyball Head Coach Jon Roberts is pleased to announce the 2025 Volleyball incoming recruiting class.
Entering his eighth season at the helm, Coach Roberts welcomes a group of high-level student-athletes with competitive club backgrounds who will contribute across every position on the court. The Monks are coming off a 15-17 campaign, including an 11-5 record in GNAC play. The 2024 squad tallied over 1,100 kills and 1,600 digs while averaging 9.8 kills, 14.6 digs, and 2.1 aces per set. Offensively, the Monks were led by Victoria Briones (2.53 K/S), Greta Mackintosh (1.89 K/S), and Maggie Sylvester (1.86 K/S), while Riley Greenley anchored the back row with 4.13 assists per set and 162 digs.
"I am very excited to welcome our incoming class! Each one of them reflects the type of people we value in our program," said Coach Roberts. "These players represent every position on a volleyball team and bring a wealth of high-level club experience with them. We know they are going to have an immediate impact on the level in our gym, and I believe they are going to do special things while they are here at Saint Joseph's!"
The Monks will kick off the 2025 season with a non-conference match versus Southern Maine on Friday, August 29th at University of New England.

Why Saint Joseph's? Coach Roberts was such an inviting coach, and really sold the idea of coming to play at Saint Joe's. The nature around the campus was beautiful, being right on the lake was one of my top reasons for choosing St. Joe's. Everyone I talked to from the school really seemed to love the community.
