HAMDEN, Conn. – Host Albertus Magnus College defeated Saint Joseph's College of Maine by nine strokes, 331-340, in a head-to-head men's golf matchup at New Haven Country Club on Thursday afternoon.
Sophomore Kyle Bowlan (Pelham, N.H.) earned the first Medalist honor of his collegiate career, carding an 81 (41-40) to edge Albertus Magnus linkers Pierson Hester and Kyle Sikorski by one stroke.
For Saint Joseph's, the duel provided valuable experience on the New Haven CC layout, which will also serve as the site of the 2025 GNAC Championship on October 13–14.
