STANDISH, Maine – The 2026 Saint Joseph's College of Maine men's lacrosse schedule is now available. The Monks will play 18 games this spring, opening the season on Wednesday, February 18 with a 4:00 PM road contest at University of New England. Saint Joseph's slate features seven home, 10 away, and one neutral-site contest, and the regular season is set to conclude on Tuesday, April 21 with a 4:00 PM Great Northeast Athletic Conference match-up at New England College.

The Monks' 2026 opponents combined for a 132-119 (.526) record last season, while Saint Joseph's owns a 48-74 (.393) all-time mark against this year's slate. Among the notable trends entering the season, the Monks carry their longest current winning streak versus a 2026 opponent against Albertus Magnus College (nine straight), while their longest current losing streak comes against Plymouth State University (four).

Saint Joseph's will host its home opener on Friday, February 20 with a 4:00 PM tilt against Salem State University before opening conference play on Saturday, February 28 with a 1:00 PM road game at Elms College. The spring includes a marquee trip out west, highlighted by a March 10 visit to Colorado College and a neutral-site contest against Calvin University on March 12.

The 2026 schedule also features three first-time opponents (Calvin, Colorado College, and Colby-Sawyer College) and includes two programs that reached the 2025 NCAA Tournament: Maine Maritime Academy and Rivier University.

The 2026 GNAC Tournament begins with quarterfinal action on April 25, continues with the semifinals on April 29, and concludes with the championship on May 2. The tournament champion earns the conference's automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship, scheduled for May 6 – May 24.
