Ramadan Earns USTFCCCA First Team All-America Honors

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field All-America honors on Monday, and Saint Joseph's College of Maine junior Haytham Ramadan was recognized as a First Team All-American.

Ramadan earned the national recognition after placing fifth overall in the men's 800 meters at the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships, held this past weekend at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama. By virtue of his top-eight finish, Ramadan secured First Team All-America honors and became the first indoor track & field All-American in Saint Joseph's College of Maine program history.

Athletes from USTFCCCA member institutions who finished in the top eight of their respective individual events and relays at the national championship meet earned First Team All-America distinction. Competitors who placed ninth through 16th individually, along with relay teams finishing ninth through 10th, received Second Team All-America honors.

Ramadan capped a historic indoor season by advancing through Friday's preliminary round in 1:52.71, placing third in Heat 1 and claiming one of two at-large spots in the national final. In Saturday's championship race, he clocked 1:51.41 to finish fifth in the nation and score four team points for the Monks.

Ramadan's All-America honor adds another milestone to a breakthrough season for Saint Joseph's men's track & field and further cements his place in program history.
