BOSTON, Mass. – A select group from the Saint Joseph's College men's track & field team competed at the 2026 New England Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship on Sunday at The TRACK at New Balance, highlighted by a school record in the 800 meters and multiple strong efforts against the region's top field.
ON THE TRACK
Junior Haytham Ramadan turned in the top performance of the day for the Monks, placing 7th in the 800 meters and scoring team points with a school-record 1:52.63, good for two points in a deep championship field.
Senior Abdirizak Abukar (Lewiston, Maine) competed in the 200 meters, finishing 19th in 22.34 on the banked track. Sophomore Isaac Keresey (Pittsfield, Maine) also raced in the 800 meters, clocking 1:57.14.
IN THE JUMPS
In the high jump, sophomore Junior Antonio (Portland, Maine) cleared 1.90m (6' 2.75") to finish 13th overall, clearing three consecutive bars before missing at 1.95m.
Freshman Stephen Pierre (Turner, Maine) represented Saint Joseph's in the long jump, placing 10th with a best mark of 6.52m (21' 4.75").
