Men’s Track & Field Wins Fourth Straight GNAC Indoor Title

BOSTON, Mass. – The Saint Joseph's College men's track and field team dominated the 2026 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Indoor Championship on Saturday at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center, scoring 215 points and winning nine of 16 events to claim the program's fourth consecutive conference title. The Monks finished well clear of runner-up Emmanuel (Mass.) (79.5 points), with Regis (Mass.) (73), Lasell (64), and Colby-Sawyer (59.5) rounding out the standings.

"Our men showed up ready and delivered, continuing to build on our championship culture," said Head Coach Mike Burleson. "Today was about supporting each other and putting in the work as a team. They did just that and were locked in physically and mentally, representing Monks Track & Field with pride. We have had strong leaders and experienced veterans who have certainly left a lasting mark and changed the trajectory of this program."

"As an alum and now coach, it's special to watch this group win the right way," added Associate Head Coach Troy Hendricks. "They competed with class, backed each other in every event group, and found ways to step up when it mattered. The leadership on this team reminds me of the shoes I once stood in, and I couldn't be more proud of how they carried themselves as champions today."
