STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly awards were announced on Monday and Saint Joseph's College junior Julia Price (Newbury, Mass.) has been named the GNAC Women's Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week.
Price delivered a strong week in net for the Monks, compiling a 3.00 goals-against average and a .538 save percentage over a pair of complete-game victories. She was not tested in Saint Joseph's 18-0 win over Dean College on Tuesday before making seven saves in a 7-6 victory over defending GNAC champion Emmanuel College on Saturday.
Through six games this season, Price owns a 3-2 record with a .463 save percentage and a 7.74 goals-against average over 709 minutes played. The honor is the first weekly award of her career and marks the first time a Monks player has earned GNAC Goalkeeper of the Week recognition since Morgan Wright '25 on April 7, 2025.
Saint Joseph's returns to action on Wednesday with a 4:00 PM GNAC contest at Colby-Sawyer College.
