Brown & Lebel Collect CSC Academic All-District® Honors

STANDISH, Maine – Saint Joseph's College seniors Logan Brown (Brunswick, Maine) and Madison Lebel (Hermon, Maine) have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team, as announced on Tuesday.

Brown, an Exercise Science major, posted the best season of her career and emerged as the Monks' top perimeter threat. A first-time All-Conference honoree, she started all 28 games and averaged 12.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per contest while shooting 37.9% from the field, 39.1% (90-230) from three-point range, and 71.2% from the free-throw line.

She finished the year ranked fourth in NCAA Division III in three-pointers made per game (3.21), fifth nationally in total three-pointers made (90), and seventh in three-point attempts (230). Her long-range shooting numbers rank among the best in program history, as her single-season totals for three-pointers made and attempted both stand second all-time at Saint Joseph's. Over 114 career games, Brown averaged 7.2 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game while shooting 38.5% from the floor and 39.2% from beyond the arc. She closed her career with 195 three-pointers, the third-highest total in program history, while her 497 attempts rank sixth all-time.

An Elementary Education major, Lebel enjoyed a breakout senior season and posted career highs across the board, averaging 9.3 points, 12.0 rebounds, 1.7 steals, 1.3 assists, and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 41.3% from the field, 30.1% from three-point range, and 64.6% from the free-throw line. She totaled 324 rebounds in 27 games this winter, a figure that ranked 13th in NCAA Division III, while her 12.0 rebounds per game ranked 16th nationally and her 8.1 defensive rebounds per contest ranked 18th.

Her 324 rebounds are the sixth-most in a single season in Saint Joseph's women's basketball history and the highest total by a Monk since Stephanie Carter '92 collected 371 boards during the 1991-92 campaign. Over 106 career games, including 70 starts, Lebel amassed 671 rebounds for an average of 6.3 per game and is tied for 12th on the program's all-time rebounding list.

To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes must participate in at least 90 percent of their team's contests or start a minimum of 66 percent while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot for voting by CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on April 14 for men and April 15 for women.
