FITCHBURG, Mass. – The Saint Joseph's College men's track & field team turned in a strong showing at the 2026 Jim Sheehan Memorial Meet on Saturday, highlighted by an event title in the long jump, a relay victory, a pair of school records, and two DIII New England qualifying marks.
"I thought we were bought in and battled well throughout the day," said Saint Joseph's head coach Mike Burleson. "We saw some strong performances including two men's and women's school records that will make an impact and really help us cover events at the conference meet. We're excited to be back home next week and look to keep building momentum and put down some solid marks heading into the championship phase of the season."
The Monks were led by junior Matthew Corriveau, who won the long jump with a DIII New England qualifying leap of 6.70 meters (21' 11.75"), and by the 4x400-meter relay team of Isaac Keresey, Aidan Mills, Harrison Fields, and Emilson Zocolo, which placed first in 3:42.00.
