Three SJC Field Hockey Players Earn 2026 CSC Academic All-District® Honors

STANDISH, Maine – The 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's At-Large teams have been released and three Saint Joseph's College women's lacrosse student-athletes have claimed honors.

Sophomores Gabriella Thomas (Lewiston, Maine) and Katie Yeaton (Farmington, Maine) are listed on the Academic All-District® At-Large Team for the first time in their college careers while senior Sadie Tirell (Naples, Maine), who earned a trio of Academic All-District® awards as a softball player, collects her first Academic All-District® At-Large accolade.

The 2026 CSC Academic All-District® At-Large Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately honors baseball student-athletes in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

The women's At-Large Academic All-District program encompasses 13 sports: beach volleyball, bowling, crew/rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, water polo, and wrestling.

In order to be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team, student-athletes must possess at least a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average, be a sophomore or older and have competed in a specific percentage of events during their respective seasons.

Saint Joseph's finished 12-8 overall and 9-1 in league play under second-year Head Coach Theresa Arsenault '14. The Monks claimed the #2 seed in the GNAC Tournament with a 5-0 quarterfinal win over #7 Simmons University on November 1 before falling to #3 Colby-Sawyer College, 2-0, in the semifinals.

Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 23, 2026.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
