STANDISH, Maine – The 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's At-Large teams have been released and three Saint Joseph's College women's lacrosse student-athletes have claimed honors.
Sophomores Zoey Lailer (Limington, Maine) and Kiley Webber (Freeport, Maine) and senior Celia Melanson (Waterford, Maine) are listed on the Academic All-District® At-Large Team for the first time in their college careers.
The 2026 CSC Academic All-District® At-Large Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately honors baseball student-athletes in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
The women's At-Large Academic All-District program encompasses 13 sports: beach volleyball, bowling, crew/rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, water polo, and wrestling.
In order to be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team, student-athletes must possess at least a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average, be a sophomore or older and have competed in a specific percentage of events during their respective seasons.
Under the watch of second-year Head Coach Lydia Dexter '23 this spring, Saint Joseph's posted an 18-3 overall record and captured the GNAC Championship with a 12-3 victory over Emmanuel College on May 2, securing the program's third conference title and first since 2022. The Monks later advanced to the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament, where they fell to nationally-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology in the opening round.
Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 23, 2026.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
