Introducing the SJC Men's Soccer Newcomers

STANDISH, Maine – Eighth-year Head Coach Will Pike ’11 has welcomed six newcomers to the Saint Joseph’s College men’s soccer program ahead of the 2026 season.

The group adds depth throughout the formation with two forwards, one midfielder, one defender, one goalkeeper, and one versatile player capable of contributing on both ends of the field. Noah Dugan (Durham, Maine) and Colby Jordan (Gorham, Maine) join the attack, while Khalil Ghosheh (Scarborough, Maine) provides flexibility at forward and defense. Damir Brkic (South Portland, Maine) enters the midfield, Zach Britton (Scarborough, Maine) strengthens the back line, and Alex Bachmann (Scarborough, Maine) adds experience in goal.

All six newcomers hail from Maine, including three Scarborough natives. Bachmann attended Bridgton Academy after playing at Scarborough High School, Ghosheh graduated from Scarborough, and Britton attended Northfield Mount Hermon. Brkic competed at Barca Residency Academy, Dugan arrives from Freeport High School, and Jordan is a Gorham High School product.

The group includes four members of the Class of 2030, along with Britton in the Class of 2029 and Bachmann in the Class of 2027. Jordan, a 6-foot-3 forward, is the tallest member of the class, followed by 6-foot-1 Bachmann and 6-foot Ghosheh. Four newcomers are pursuing business-related programs: Britton and Jordan are business administration majors, Brkic is studying business and sports management, and Ghosheh is an accounting major. Bachmann is majoring in exercise science, while Dugan enters Saint Joseph’s undeclared.

The newcomers join a Saint Joseph’s program that advanced to the GNAC Semifinals last season after finishing 8-9-1 overall and 7-4-1 in conference play. The Monks’ 16-game schedule features 11 GNAC contests, five non-conference matchups, and nine home games. Saint Joseph’s opens the season at home against the University of Maine at Farmington on September 1 before hosting nationally ranked UMass Boston on September 6. GNAC competition begins September 12 against Rivier University, and the regular season concludes at home against Mitchell College on October 24.
