STANDISH, Maine - Fourteenth-year Head Coach Jenelle Harris welcomes eight newcomers to the Saint Joseph’s College women’s soccer program for the 2026 season, adding one goalkeeper, five midfielders, and two forwards. The group consists of seven members of the Class of 2030 and one member of the Class of 2029.
Gabby Chasse (Brewer, Maine) joins the Monks in goal, while Isabella McCall (Sanford, Maine), Abigail Kajunski (Hanover, Mass.), Carina Castagna (Turner, Maine), Rachel LaSalle (Portland, Maine), and Annika Kurotori (San Jose, Calif.) strengthen the midfield. Paige Garlock (Scarborough, Maine) and Annalise Stimmell (Sanford, Maine) provide two new options in the Saint Joseph’s attack.
Six of the eight newcomers hail from Maine, representing Brewer, Sanford, Turner, Scarborough, and Portland. Kajunski arrives from Massachusetts, while Kurotori extends the group’s geographic reach to California. McCall and Stimmell continue their careers together after attending Sanford High School.
The newcomers join a Saint Joseph’s team seeking to build on an 8-8-1 campaign in 2025. The Monks went 7-5-1 in conference play and earned the No. 6 seed in the GNAC Tournament before falling to Lasell University, 1-0, in the quarterfinals. The 2026 schedule features 17 games, including 13 GNAC contests, and begins September 1 at the University of New England. Saint Joseph’s makes its home debut against Husson University on September 4.
