FARMINGTON, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College alpine skiing team finished third with an aggregate 4:10.81 time in a slalom race at Titcomb Mountain on Sunday.
UMaine-Farmington won the event with a 3:53.79 total time while Bowdoin College was second (3:58.97), and Colby College finished fourth (5:00.29). Bowdoin's Elizabeth Scott was the top individual finisher with a 1:13.83 (37.63, 36.21) performance.
THE RUNDOWN:
- Freshman Annie Cerminaro (Unityville, Pa.) placed third with a 1:15.23 time after finishing third in both legs (38.02, 37.21)
- Freshman Jillian Luby (Wolfeboro, N.H.) finished eighth (1:21.66, 41.28/40.38)
- First-year Sarah Lachance (Auburn, Maine) was 15th (1:33.92, 51.34/42.58)
- Sophomore Sarah Hotchkiss (New Durham, N.H.) was 14th (45.68) on the first run but did not finish her second run
- On the men's side, freshman Tucker Davis (South Berwick, Maine) was 16th (1:25.95, 43.13/42.82)
