Monks Defeat Raiders in GNAC Opener, 20-5

Box Score

NASHUA, N.H. – The Saint Joseph's College (5-0, 1-0 GNAC) women's lacrosse team kicked off Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play with a decisive 20-5 victory at Rivier University (1-3, 0-2 GNAC) on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Monks opened the contest with four goals from four different players in the opening three minutes and boasted a 10-1 cushion after sophomore Megan Mourmouras (Biddeford, Maine) netted her second marker of the night as time expired in the first quarter.
