SJC Baseball Team Members Volunteer at Riding to the Top Fundraiser

STANDISH, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College Monks baseball team once again gave back to the local community by volunteering at Riding To The Top Therapeutic Riding Center's annual Triple B ~ Boots, Band & BBQ fundraiser on Saturday, September 18th, 2025.

Members of the Monks assisted with various aspects of the event throughout the evening, contributing to a highly successful fundraiser that generated a net total of $280,000. The funds raised directly support Riding To The Top's therapeutic riding programs, horses, and participants.

"Partnering with the volunteers at Riding To The Top has become a meaningful tradition for our team. Our players are proud to do their small part in support of an incredible organization that makes a real difference for so many," said Head Coach Will Sanborn.

Triple B ~ Boots, Band & BBQ is Riding To The Top's signature fundraising event, designed to raise both awareness and financial support for equine-assisted services benefiting children and adults with disabilities. Riding To The Top is Maine's only year-round, PATH-accredited therapeutic riding center focused exclusively on serving individuals with disabilities across southern and central Maine.

Through their continued involvement with the event, the Monks baseball program demonstrates its commitment to service and community partnership, helping advance an organization that makes a meaningful difference beyond the campus and the baseball field.
