WORCESTER, Mass.–Saint Joseph's College closed out the third and final day of the 2025 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Swimming & Diving Championships in fourth place at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) Sports and Recreation Center on Sunday.
The SJC women finished in fourth place with 471 team points. Norwich University finished in first place with 917 points, Simmons in second place (810), Regis in third (500), SJC in fourth, USJ in fifth (463), Elms in sixth (297), and Albertus Magnus in last with 233 points.
In the Sunday Finals the Monks saw a first place finish and team record setting performance in the 50 Yard Breaststroke from Berkley Hutchins (31.71) while Tiffany Twombly finished tied for third (33.33). Twombly also finished third in the 200 Yard IM (2:22.08).
While the relay team of Elise Soucy, Hutchins, Cheri Willems, and Twombly did not medal, they placed fourth in the 400 Yard Medley Relay just 0.13 seconds behind Regis.
Bri Letourneau had a best time in the 100 Free and Cheri Willems had a best time in the 200 Fly.
Sunday's events concludes the GNAC Championships and the Monks 2024-2025 season.
