STANDISH, Maine – Keene State (4-4) controlled the game from start to finish, rolling to a 13-5 win over Saint Joseph's (3-4) in non-conference men's lacrosse action Tuesday afternoon at the Owl Athletic Complex.
How It Happened
Keene State came out firing, netting five unanswered goals in the first quarter to set the tone. Adam Scala and Rex Maccarini led the early charge as the Owls dominated possession.
Saint Joseph's worked to gain momentum, managing five shots in the opening quarter compared to Keene State's 16. By halftime, the Owls had stretched their lead to 7-0, with Chris Adriaansen and Ben Tukey adding to the tally.
The Monks showed some fight in the third quarter, cutting into the deficit with goals from Will Levesque (Marlow, N.H.) and Joseph Kiedaisch (Westminster, Mass), but Keene State answered quickly to keep control.
Saint Joseph's continued to battle in the fourth, getting late goals from Calvin Heline (Amesbury, MA) and Brandon Cavicchi (Kingston, MA), but Keene State's depth proved too much to overcome.

Reed Wescott (Windham, ME) faced an unrelenting 64 total shots, making 22 saves while Dylan Florian effectively managed the Saint Joseph's attack for Keene State.
