STANDISH, Maine — A new full-length documentary, All In: As One, takes viewers inside the Saint Joseph's College of Maine men's basketball team's historic 2024–25 season, capturing the players, coaches and community behind the Monks' championship run.
Produced and directed by Saint Joseph's alumnus Chris Theodores '25, the film follows the team's journey to its first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) championship since 2009 and first NCAA Division III Tournament appearance in 16 years.
With support from Head Coach Tyler Ackley and the college, Theodores followed the team throughout the season. All In: As One offers a behind-the-scenes look at the challenges the Monks faced, their growth as a team and the belief in one another that helped carry them to a conference title.
A former Sports Information Department intern at Saint Joseph's, Theodores independently produced the documentary to celebrate the team and give back to a community that helped shape his personal and professional growth.
"Saint Joseph's College changed my life and I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities and support I've received since stepping foot on campus," said Theodores. "Being able to create something that celebrates the college while showcasing the team's accomplishments is extremely meaningful to me. I cherished this experience and give all thanks to those who helped bring this project to life. I hope it's something the players, coaches, and SJC community can look back on and feel proud of what they accomplished."
"This team gave the Saint Joseph's community so much to celebrate, both in what it accomplished and in the way our student-athletes represented the college," said President Joseph L. Cassidy. "We are proud to support Chris in preserving this team's remarkable story. Seeing one of our graduates use his talent to honor his fellow Monks makes this project especially meaningful to the entire Saint Joseph's College community."
"When I think about that season, I think about the work our players put in every day and how much they came to trust one another," said Ackley. "Winning a championship was a tremendous reward for that commitment. Having Chris document the journey gives us a chance to revisit the moments and relationships that made the season special, and to share that experience with the people who supported us."
"Watching Chris grow during his time as an intern was one of the most rewarding parts of working with him," said Corey McCarthy, Director of Athletics Communication & Marketing. "He kept learning, building confidence and finding his own voice as a storyteller. Now he's created something that will be part of this team's legacy—something the players, coaches and their families can return to years from now and remember what this season meant to them. I'm proud of the film, but even more proud of Chris and how far he's come."
The film preserves a memorable chapter in Saint Joseph's basketball, giving the players and coaches who lived it—and future generations of Monks—a chance to revisit the season for years to come.
Theodores extends his gratitude to Saint Joseph's College, President Cassidy, Ackley, McCarthy, Brian Berthiaume '24 and everyone who contributed to the project, as well as his friends and family for their continued love and support.
