STANDISH, Maine – The 2026 Saint Joseph's College baseball team will play 40 games this spring, opening the season on Saturday, February 28 with a 12:00 PM road doubleheader at Bowdoin College. Saint Joseph's is slated for 14 home, 14 away, and 12 neutral-site contests, and the regular season is scheduled to conclude on Saturday, April 25 with a 12:00 PM conference twinbill at Colby-Sawyer College.

Saint Joseph's 2026 opponents posted a combined 366-448 (.450) record last season, while the Monks own a 423-199 (.680) all-time mark against this year's slate. Among the notable trends entering the spring, Saint Joseph's carries its longest current winning streak versus a 2026 opponent against University of Maine at Farmington (10 straight), while its longest current losing streak is against Colby-Sawyer (six).

An early-season highlight is the Monks' trip to the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational, featuring six neutral-site doubleheaders from March 7–14. Saint Joseph's will also welcome Thomas for its home opener on Wednesday, March 25 at 4:00 PM, before beginning home conference play on Sunday, March 29 with a 12:00 PM doubleheader against Elms College. Conference action begins on Saturday, March 21 with a 1:00 PM twinbill at Albertus Magnus College.

Additional non-conference dates on the docket include a home-and-home with Bates College (Apr. 1 away / Apr. 15 home), a home game versus University of Southern Maine on Wednesday, April 22 (4:00 PM), and a home date with UMaine-Farmington on Monday, April 6 (1:00 PM). The 2026 slate also includes three first-time opponents: Anderson University, Mount St. Joseph University, and University of Minnesota Morris.

The 2026 GNAC Tournament begins with Pod Play (May 1–3) and continues with the Championship Series (May 7–8). The conference champion earns the league's automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship, scheduled for May 15 – June 4.
