STANDISH, Maine - The 2026 Maine College Baseball & Softball Association (MCBSA) postseason accolades have been announced and Saint Joseph's College senior catcher Sadie Tirrell (Naples, Maine) has earned First Team All-State honors, senior first baseman Chantelle Bouchard (Biddeford, Maine) has collected Second Team honors, and freshman outfielder Kiera Gabric (Hampden, Maine) is listed on the All-Rookie Team.
Tirrell, a three-time All-State honoree, finished her senior season hitting .368 (49-133) with 35 runs scored, 13 doubles, two triples, one home run, 32 RBI, a .519 slugging percentage, a .427 on-base percentage, and seven stolen bases in as many attempts. She led the Monks in hits and runs scored while ranking second on the team in doubles and RBI.
For her career, Tirrell hit .360 (170-472) with 115 runs scored, 30 doubles, nine triples, four home runs, 84 RBI, and 27 stolen bases in 148 games. She closes her career ranked ninth in program history in hits and stolen bases, 10th in total bases (230), and 11th in doubles and extra-base hits (43).
Bouchard, a two-time First Team All-State selection, earned Second Team honors after batting .372 (45-121) with 34 runs scored, 14 doubles, two triples, four home runs, and 41 RBI during her senior season. She led the Monks in doubles, home runs, RBI, slugging percentage (.620), on-base percentage (.439), walks (15), and total bases (75) this spring.
Bouchard concluded her collegiate career with a .393 (154-392) batting average, 96 runs scored, 41 doubles, 23 home runs, 124 RBI, a .684 slugging percentage, and a .444 on-base percentage in 123 games. Limited to eight appearances as a freshman due to injury, she produced those numbers over essentially three full seasons. Bouchard ranks second in program history in home runs and slugging percentage, third in OPS (1.128), fifth in RBI, sixth in doubles and extra-base hits (66), and seventh in total bases (268).
Gabric started 40 games during her freshman season and provided consistent production at the top of the lineup. The All-Rookie Team selection batted .277 with 38 hits, 31 runs scored, 11 RBI, and 11 stolen bases. Gabric ranked second on the team in stolen bases, third in hits, and fourth in runs scored, and posted a .968 fielding percentage in center field.
Under the direction of 29th-year Head Coach Jamie Smyth '92, Saint Joseph's posted a 19-22 overall record and an 11-7 mark in GNAC play while earning the No. 2 seed in the conference's North Division. The Monks defeated Lasell University in an elimination game during the GNAC Tournament before falling to eventual conference champion Albertus Magnus College in 10 innings to conclude the 2026 campaign.
