Brookline, MA - The SJC women's basketball team finished the regular season with a 66-47 win at Newbury College.

The Monks (10-14) got off to a slow start and the Nighthawks enjoyed some early success as SR Jessie Laliberty (Haverhill, MA/Haverhill) proved to be a difficult match-up. Laliberty scored a game-high 20 points in the final game of her career.

St. Joe's dominated in the second stanza, holding the Nighthawks to just 11 points. SO Alysn Ludwig (Waldoboro, ME/Medomak Valley) led the charge with 17 points in the victory.

FY Carolyn Freeman (Scarborough, ME/Catherine McAuley) had a double-double on the night with 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. JR Megan Farrell (Abington, MA/Abington) and FY Allison Miner (Pembroke, NH/Pembroke Academy) added 10 points apiece in the win.
