Box Score HENNIKER, N.H. — The Saint Joseph's College (13-5, 6-1) women's basketball team secured the win over the New England College Pilgrims (7-11, 1-6) 69-44 in a conference contest on the road Wednesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Monks jumped out to ahead with an early lead, securing a 10-0 advantage off the start with Angelica Hurley (Groveland, MA) scoring five of the first 10 points. Over the course of the first quarter the Monks led by as many as 20 points and held the Pilgrims to just eight.
Despite the early deficit, the Pilgrims worked to chip away in the second quarter. The Pilgrims held the Monks to 15 points on the quarter and were able to net 10. The Monks extended their lead to 38-18 as they entered the second half.
The Monks continued to add to their lead in the third quarter, shooting 61.54% from inside the arc compared to the Pilgrims 18.18%. During the third quarter, the Monks scored 13 of their 21 points off of turnovers. The Monks outscored the Pilgrims 21-7, leading by as many as 34 points twice. The Monks were able to increase their lead to 59-25 by the end of the third.
Saint Joseph's secured the victory with a 69-44 final score after leading by as many as 34 points in the fourth.

- Junior Grace Ramsdell (Wells, ME) tallied 14 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and a steal
- Junior Logan Brown (Brunswick, ME) added nine points, four rebounds, and two steals
- Maddie Russell (Oakfield, ME), Elisabeth Stapelfeld (Brookline, NH), and Hayden Madore (Hallowell, ME) each added six points for the Monks

- Camryn Lewis led the Pilgrims with 13 points, eight rebounds, and a steal
- Gabriella Matlock added 12 points, four rebounds, and two steals
- Macy Huttonl contributed six points and five rebounds
