AUBURN, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College alpine ski teams competed in a slalom race at Lost Valley on Sunday. The SJC women earned their third straight team victory of the season, while the Monks' men finished second for the third consecutive event.
THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:
Saint Joseph's captured the team title with nine place points and a combined time of 3:31.26. Freshman Maggie Cook (Centennial, Colo.) paced the Monks with a third-place finish (1:08.76). UMaine-Farmington's Rosie St. Cyr won the race in 1:05.67, while Colby's Gabrielle Henry placed second (1:07.65).
Bowdoin (25 pts), UMaine-Orono (30 pts), UMaine-Farmington (59 pts) and Bates (87 pts) also competed.

THE RUNDOWN – MEN:
UMaine-Farmington claimed the men's team title with seven place points and a combined time of 3:00.74, placing the top two finishers: Sam Roy (59.22) and Magnus Riggs (59.91). Saint Joseph's was led by senior Jack Price (Franconia, N.H.), who took third in 1:00.00 to complete the podium. The Monks finished second overall with 17 place points and a total time of 3:07.32.
Bowdoin (33 pts), UMaine-Orono (47 pts) and Colby (111 pts) also competed.
