READFIELD, Maine – The Saint Joseph's College alpine ski teams competed in a slalom race at Kent's Hill on Saturday. The SJC women won the event, while the Monks' men finished in second place.
THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:
Saint Joseph's captured the team title with 12 place points and a combined time of 3:27.93. Freshman Maggie Cook (Centennial, Colo.) led the Monks with a third-place finish in 1:08.32. UMaine-Farmington took the top two spots, with Rosie St Cyr (1:03.81) and Houkulani Caroselli (1:06.86) finishing first and second, respectively.
UMaine-Farmington (34 pts), Bowdoin (34 pts), and UMaine-Orono (39 pts) also competed in Saturday's slalom.

THE RUNDOWN – MEN:
UMaine-Farmington won the men's title with seven place points and a total time of 2:58.37. Lance Dolan (59.26) and Sam Roy (59.44) took the top two spots for UMF. Saint Joseph's was led by senior Logan Davis (Naples, Maine), who placed third in 59.53, as the Monks earned second place with 19 place points and a combined time of 3:02.35.
UMaine-Orono (54 pts) and Bowdoin (58 pts) also competed in the slalom.
