STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly awards have been released and Saint Joseph's College senior Chloe Grosso (Westbrook, Maine) has been named as the GNAC Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week.

Grosso played a huge role by making a career-high four defensive saves in the Monks' 2-1 overtime victory over fellow GNAC contender Colby-Sawyer College on Saturday.

The senior defender has registered five total defensive saves in 13 games this fall and six in 60 career contests across four seasons. For Grosso, the weekly honor is a career-first.

Saint Joseph's will host Husson University in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday at 4:30 PM.
