EASTLAKE, Ohio – Saint Joseph's College sophomore Nic Frink (Scarborough, Maine/Thornton Academy) has been named a 2026 ABCA/Rawlings Fourth Team All-American, as announced Thursday evening during the NCAA Division III College World Series Opening Ceremony at Classic Auto Group Park.
Listed as a utility player on the All-America squad, Frink turned in one of the most productive seasons in program history this spring. The sophomore batted .382 (66-for-173) with 46 runs scored, nine doubles, 11 home runs, 49 RBI, and eight stolen bases while helping the Monks advance to the GNAC Championship Series.
A versatile contributor, Frink started games behind the plate, at designated hitter, and in the outfield while also making his collegiate pitching debut. In eight appearances on the mound, he posted a 4-1 record with a save, a 1.93 ERA, and six strikeouts over 9.1 innings.
Frink paced the GNAC in home runs, RBI, and total bases (110), ranked second in hits, third in runs scored, and fifth in slugging percentage (.636). He also established program single-season records for at-bats (173) and plate appearances (199) while finishing among Saint Joseph's single-season leaders in home runs (tied for third), total bases (fifth), hits (sixth), and RBI (seventh).
The honor marks the first All-America selection for a Saint Joseph's baseball player since Joey Murphy '19 earned D3baseball.com Fourth Team All-America recognition in 2019. Frink is also the first Monk sophomore to receive All-America honors since Ian Lee '11 garnered D3baseball.com All-America Honorable Mention accolades in 2009.
The national recognition adds to an impressive list of postseason honors for Frink, who was previously named GNAC Co-Player of the Year, First Team All-GNAC, First Team ABCA/Rawlings All-Region 1, and Second Team D3baseball.com All-Region 1.
Through his first two years in blue and white, Frink owns a .386 batting average (123-for-319) with 75 runs scored, 19 doubles, three triples, 19 home runs, and 87 RBI in 86 games. No player in program history has produced more home runs, RBI, or total bases through their first two collegiate seasons at Saint Joseph's.
The ABCA/Rawlings All-America teams are selected by members of the ABCA All-America Committee, with only First Team All-Region selections eligible for consideration. The 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region teams were announced Tuesday.
