Led by Head Coach and 2008 Saint Joseph’s Athletics Hall of Fame inductee Dick Bailey, the 1994 Softball Team posted a 27-9 (.750) overall record and claimed Maine Athletic Conference (MAC), NAIA New England, and NAIA Northeast Championships en route to securing the program’s first NAIA National Tournament appearance

Opened the season with a 20-2 record and suffered consecutive losses on just two occasions

As proof of the team’s caliber, four members had been individually inducted into the Saint Joseph’s College Hall of Fame prior to the 1994 team’s entry: Cindy Kamszik, Kim Rodgers, Dani Waterman, and Head Coach Dick Bailey

When the dust settled, the 1994 Softball Team had set program records for victories, doubles (46), home runs (8), and shutouts (12) and ace pitcher Dani Waterman headlined a list of individual accolades by earning All-America, All-District, and All-State honors as well as NAIA District 5, State of Maine, and Conference Player of the Year awards
