John Monahan, who came to Saint Josephs College in 1972, served as Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, Foreign Student Advisor, Varsity Baseball Coach, Assistant Varsity and Freshmen Basketball Coach over a  six-year term. For all his coaching efforts, Monahan was named NAIA Area 8, NAIA District 5, and State of Maine Baseball Coach of the Year in 1977.
